Darlington Reserves went down 4-0 at league leaders Jarrow, even though they played with ten men for three quarters of the game.

Quakers had Matthew Lovegreen dismissed for a last man foul after 16 minutes, even though the assistant's flag was up for offside in the build up to the incident.

Joint manager Mark Fanning said; "It all turned on the sending off. We had Mattie dismissed, then they scored from the free kick.

"By half time we were 4-0 down, but in the second half I thought we played very well and showed plenty of character. But you can't play the league leaders with ten men. I can't get knock the lads, but we don't seem to be getting the rub of the green at the moment."

Quakers are away to Windscale in their next game on Saturday.
