Thank you for all the messages and congratulations in respect to the Virgin Trains sponsorship. The support of the Northern Echo has been huge and helped us to secure the deal and I would personally like to thank Peter Barron for his help in this.
I would also like to thank Star FM, Darlington Borough Council, Darlington Rugby Club, York Pullman and all our volunteers for their help in staging last night's open top bus parade and event in Market Square. Thank you also to everybody who attended, it was a memorable evening.
