Darlington look to continue their good start to the season on Monday night when they face Curzon Ashton.

Following an opening day draw at Altrincham, the Quakers were able to pick up an impressive 4-1 win at Heritage Park against Boston United on Saturday. A Terry Galbraith penalty opened the scoring, before further strikes from Liam Hardy, Mark Beck and an own goal sealed the win.

The win saw us move up to ninth in the league table, with the entire top seven having played a game more than ourselves.

Curzon Ashton are also on four points, but have played three games. They suffered a disastrous start to the season with a 6-1 home defeat to Kidderminster Harriers, but they have been able to pick up four points from their trips to Bradford Park Avenue  a 4-4 draw and Alfreton Town, a 1-0 win.

The two sides went head-to-head for the Evo-Stik North Division One title three seasons ago, when Curzon came out on top. They won 1-0 in the meeting between the sides early on that year and won 4-0 at Heritage Park to all but seal the title and promotion.

In their first ever season in the second level of non-league football they came 11th in the National North last year.

Darlington will add defender Chris Hunter to the squad tonight after the completion of his suspension. Manager Martin Gray said that one or two players were carrying knocks after Saturday’s game, but nothing serious.

Kick off on Monday night is 7:45pm, updates on the game will be made from the club's Facebook, Twitter, Mobile App and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 7:35pm
