Following feedback from fans after the all-ticket games at Blackwell Meadows, both Darlington FC and Darlington Football Club Supporters Group have been looking into solutions to allow tickets to be bought easily online. We're pleased to announce that we're introducing a pilot this Saturday for the game against Harrogate for fans to buy tickets online in advance of the game. (Please note that the game is not all ticket, you can still pay at the turnstiles on the day)
Director Richard Cook said of the facility; "Online ticketing is now a fundamental part of any event and will help the club to serve fans more efficiently and reduce the work load on its small volunteer base.
"Buying tickets online in advance of a game, not just all-ticket games, helps with match-day planning and execution and we'd urge those who usually pay on the gate to take advantage where possible."
There will be 100 tickets available to purchase online so that we can test the system and should it be a success we will roll out further. There is a very small admin charge of 25p per ticket to cover the costs incurred by the Club. Tickets can either be printed or stored electronically on any mobile phone which has access to your email and can be purchased at: http://buytickets.at/dfcsg
In order for us to ensure we have a robust system for online ticketing we'd appeal for those who pay on the day to buy a ticket online and test the system out on Saturday.
Please note that the game is NOT all-ticket and you can still pay at the turnstile on the day.
