We look to bounce back on Saturday, as we host Bradford Park Avenue on another day of togetherness at Blackwell Meadows (writes Simon Hahn).

With Gary Brown and Phil Turnbull still in temporary charge last Saturday we fell to a narrow 2-1 defeat at Tommy Wright’s Nuneaton Town. The result left us in 12th place in the league table, one point behind Bradford although we have played two games more than them.

Our last home game against Stockport saw Quakers denied victory by a late equaliser, on a day when everyone got behind the new temporary management team.

We got the better of Park Avenue last season, winning both our meetings 2-1 and 1-0 thanks to a late Harvey Saunders goal.

After being bottom of the table for much of last season manager Mark Bower, who played for Quakers in season 2009-10, came in and has turned the sides fortunes around. A fantastic run saw them survive and finish 16th in the table and they are pushing on for a top seven place this time around.

In their squad is ex Quaker Adam Nowakowski who scored in Bradford’s last match, a 1-1 draw with Kidderminster Harriers.

Kick off on Saturday is 3pm, updates on the game will be made from the club’s Facebook, Twitter and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 2:50pm which is kindly sponsored by Tempest Jones.
