We are excited to announce an opportunity for a passionate football enthusiasts to join the Darlington FC media team for the upcoming season as a volunteer! This role will put you right in the thick of the action, providing critical support to our media outreach and fan engagement efforts.

As part of our dedicated media team, a primary responsibility will be the creation of engaging content for our pre-match and post-match email service. This will involve crafting well-written, exciting updates to keep our fans abreast of all the latest Darlington FC news.

We also have opportunitues to join our social media team. Ceating content at matches, at training, as well as providing support with the day-to-day running of our social media channels.

This is a fantastic opportunity to broaden your experience and make your mark on a wide variety of platforms.

This volunteer role is ideal for someone with strong content writing skills who is comfortable navigating the digital realm. Whether you're an aspiring sports journalist looking to gain experience in football media or a die-hard fan who wants to use their IT prowess to contribute to the club's success, we would love to hear from you!

Volunteering at Darlington FC isn't just about giving back, it's about joining a vibrant community of football enthusiasts and becoming an integral part of our club's operations. You will need to be able to commit c5 hours per week over the season in this volunteer role, with email content generally requiring turnaround on a Thursday evening/Friday morning & Sunday post match.
