Darlington Football Club would like to announce the signing of keeper Ed Wilczynski from Bishop Auckland.

Ed is a 6 foot 2, 22 year old, who joined Huddersfield Town’s academy at an early age, and worked his way up through the groups to Under 21 level until he was released last summer. He was born in Yorkshire of Polish and Irish ancestry.

He has had loan spells at Trafford, FC United and Bishop Auckland, and at the start of this season was on the bench for Fylde against Telford United.

He signed for Northern League Bishops after he left Fylde, and has produced some excellent displays as they reached the third qualifying round of the FA Cup and sixth place in the Northern League.
