Darlington Football Club will be cheering up the children in the Pediatric Ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Thursday 21st December, and we want your help!
Some youngsters will be spending the festive season in hospital, and the club wants to make their stay happier and less worrying by giving them Christmas presents.
So, if you would like to help a sick child this Christmas, when you’re out shopping in the next few days buy an extra gift and bring it to the home game against Salford City on Saturday 9th December. We estimate the age range of the children involved to be between 6 months and 15 years. Our aim is to provide at least 20 presents.
The gifts will then be handed out to the children when Tommy Wright and the players visit. If there are any gifts left over, then they will be donated to the Salvation Army.
So if you want to help a sick child this Christmas, then please bring a present along to the Salford game.
Thanks to Geoff Gale for making the arrangements.
