Coulby Newham 1 Darlington FC Youth U12s 1

After two really tough games Darlington didn't get into a rhythm and started slowly being outplayed most of the first half with too many players not at their best but still trying hard!!

Against the run of play on 20 mins Darlington took the lead after the ball fell to Chrissy Walters on the penalty spot and he volleyed it home for his fourth goal in three games

Half time 1-0 to Darlington.

The second half was a lot more even with Coulby playing good football but with Fynn confident in goal and Oli Clark keeping things tight at the back Darlington looked solid and created some chances, but with 15 mins to go Coulby scored an unstoppable free kick into the top corner to make it 1-1 at the final whistle and in fairness it was a deserved and fair point for both sides. We move on to the next game – keep going lads.
