The A1 is going to be completely closed between Scotch Corner and Leeming between Friday night and Sunday afternoon in order for a temporary bridge over the road to be removed.
Therefore, if you're planning on going to Nuneaton on Saturday for our Vanarama National League North game, you will need to find an alternative route, possibly the A66, A19 and A168 before joining the A1 at Dishforth.
It's anticipated that there will be heavier traffic than usual around Darlington, Croft, Northallerton and Thirsk as motorists travelling southwards try to find an alternative route.
Please therefore, plan extra time for your journey
