Darlington fan issued with two year ban

The Farsley incidents

Darlington FC have today issued a two year ban for misbehaviour to a supporter following incidents at a recent game.

Thanks to several eye witness accounts, videos and images, we have identified a person who ran on to the field when we scored at Farsley, and also spat at the home team’s goalkeeper. He has been banned one year for each incident, the bans to run consecutively.

We will be informing other clubs and the FA that he is banned from Blackwell Meadows until April 2025.

The club condemns any sort of misbehaviour at home and away matches, and we remind supporters that when they travel away from home to watch us play, they are representing the club and should be on their best behaviour.

We will continue to issue bans to supporters who are proven to have misbehaved, and we urge our responsible fans to report such activity to the club.
