Darlington FC donates signed ball to Covid nurse at DMH

Mr Q receives a video in return

Earlier in the season, Darlington fan Joe Peacock won a signed DFC football and generously donated it back to the club.

Mr Q then approached Darlington Memorial Hospital for suggestions about who we could give it to, and in turn they suggested Sandra Watson, who is works in the ICU department and is at the centre of the Covid situation in the hospital.

Mr Q said; "The hospital and her close colleagues stated that Sandra provides a constant stream of support to both patients and staff members, and goes about her daily business providing help, understanding, kindness, inspiration, energy, at these difficult times. Her colleagues felt that Sandra and her two mad Darlo sons, George who is 6 and Harry who is 5 this week on Wednesday would love the signed Darlo FC football donated by Joe."

Via Sean Allen, one of Sandra's colleagues, Mr Q passed on the signed football.

And then, he received a little video of thanks from George and Harry!
