Let's GO for 3 in 4!

Darlington host Stamford on Sunday looking to go back to the top of the league table. The game has been switched to the Brewery Field with the permission of the league.

The Quakers moved top on Tuesday night with a 3-0 victory over Skelmersdale United. Kevin Burgess, Nathan Cartman and Stephen Thompson’s goals saw the side move ahead of second place Blyth Spartans for the first time since October. However, Blyth won 2-0 at Matlock on Saturday to go return to the top, one point ahead of Quakers.

Darlington team v Skelmersdale:

Jameson, Hunter (sub Gaskell 69 mins), Galbraith, Portas (sub Nowakowski 24 mins), Burgess, Brown, Mitchell, Scott, Armstrong (sub Hardy 60 mins), Cartman, Thompson

Subs: Provatt, Weldon

Darlington are now a point behind Blyth with two games in hand going into the last seven days of the season. After today Darlington have just three league games to play, against Grantham at home on Tuesday, then away to Whitby on Thursday and finally Rushall Olympic away on Saturday.

The game is also vital for our visitors, Stamford, for completely different reasons. They sit third from bottom in the league and have three games left to save themselves from relegation. They are currently four points behind fifth bottom Whitby Town, with an inferior goal difference.

Stamford have only won one of their last eight games, but they were unlucky to only earn a point in their last fixture against Salford City, when the Ammies equalised in stoppage time.

Kick off is at 3:00pm, updates on the game will be made from the club's Facebook, Twitter, Mobile App and Website. Live Commentary will be broadcast from Darlo Fans Radio at 2:50pm
