Darlington v Ramsbottom United Preview
Darlington host bottom of the table Ramsbottom United on Tuesday night looking to make it four wins...
The Quakers were victorious on Saturday, as they won 3-0 away to Halesowen Town, thanks to goals from Graeme Armstrong, Kevin Burgess and Stephen Thompson.
The win saw Darlington move up to second place in the league table, a point behind league leaders Blyth Spartans. A win over Ramsbottom would see the Quakers move to the top of the league table if Blyth fail to win away to third placed Salford City.
Darlington still have the only 100% home record in the division after victories over Frickley Athletic, Barwell and Blyth.
The two sides have history from two seasons ago when they met three times. In those three meeting Ramsbottom came out on top on all three occasions, including in the play-off semi-final, 2-0.
The visitors have had a bad season to the season and have only picked up one point from their seven games so far.
New signing Ryan Brobbel will be included in the squad for Darlington.
Kick-off at Heritage Park on Tuesday is 7:45pm
