A superb performance from Quakers gave them their fourth successive home win and set them up nicely for next week's big gam at fellow promotion contenders Harrogate Town.

Worcester had no answer to Quakers' threats from setpieces and power in the air, with four goals coming from headers.

Quakers have won their last four home games, scoring 16 goals along the way and they proved how clinical they have become in front of goals with this display.

Darlo forced the first corner on 9 minutes, which was swung in from the right by Josh Gillies and headed over by Gary Brown.

Quakers had another chance on 11 minutes when Gillies cut in from the left and struck a low right foot shot that was comfortably held by Ryan boot.

But there was some hesitation in the darlo defence when a right wing cross came into the box, Gary Brown couldn’t get the ball away, and Colby Bishop couldn’t get a shot on target.

Quakers took the lead on 19 minutes from their third corner of the game. Gillies curled the ball into the near post where Brown got away from his marker and headed into the roof of the net.

Worcester had a chance when the ball came in from the left, and Colby Bishop, making a late run, glanced his header wide.

Quakers went 2-0 up on 27 minutes, when Stephen Thompson crossed delicately from the right, and Mark beck, six yards out, headed into the bottom corner for his fifth league goal of the season.

It was nearly 3-0 when the ball dropped nicely for Stephen Thompson just outside the box, and he hit a half volley that just cleared the bar.

Worcester then had an attack with Bishop outside the box, but Burgess flung himself forward to block his shot

Worcester had a rare break, that ended with Hughes putting a left foot shot over the top.

It was nearly 3-0 on 43 minutes when Galbraith swung a corner over from the right for Beck’s header to be deflected wide for a corner on the other side.

Gillies curled this one over, and once again Brown was there to head in for the third.

Quakers nearly got a fourth at the start of the second half, when Thompson’s shot was deflected just wide, but Quakers scored from the corner. There was a real scramble in the Worcester box. Phil Turnbull hit the post from 25 yards, Gillies’ follow up was blocked , and Beck volleyed the ball past the stranded keeper.

It was 5-0 on 56 minutes. Gillies played the ball back for Galibraith, who had time to measure a delightful cross on to the head of David Syers to heads past the keeper.

 Worcester pulled a goal back on 71 minutes when Ebby Nelson-Addy burst through the middle and beat Peter Jameson with a low right foot shot.

Worcester nearly got another, but Jameson saved well from Murphy’s low shot.
