Quakers agree transfer

David Syers

The club has completed the permanent transfer of attacking midfielder David Syers to EvoStik Premier club Farsley Celtic.

David signed for Quakers in October 2016 and scored on his debut against Gainsborough in a 5-2 win. He went on to score a total of nine goals for us that season, a particularly memorable one being in the 4-1 away win at Harrogate Town.

He made 80 full and substitute appearances for us, scoring 17 goals.

David has been a great servant for the club and always been professional in his attitude, and everyone at Darlington FC would like to wish him all the best for the future.
