Darlington once again were without a game this week due to the weather which meant the Quakers slipped out of the play-off places.

League leaders Blyth Spartans were also out of action, but remain top of the table.

Nantwich Town are second in the league despite a shock defeat at home to Whitby Town. Whitby had not previously won away from home in the league, but goals from Michael Roberts and Ryan Brobbel put them 2-0 ahead. Elliot Osborne did pull a goal back for Nantwich, but they fell to a 2-1 defeat.

Nantwich then faced a huge game with third placed Salford City on Tuesday night. Matthew Bell put Nantwich ahead in the 30th minute, but Gary Stopforth earned Salford a 1-1 draw just after the break.

Salford are level on points with Nantwich after they thrashed Barwell at the weekend 7-0. James Poole scored a hat-trick, along with further goals from Daniel Webber, Scott Burton, Jordan Hulme and Joseph Mwasile.

Ashton United are up to fourth after a 3-1 win at home to Buxton on Saturday. Jason Gorton gave Ashton the lead, with Gregory Young levelling for the visitors.  However, Stephen Mason and Chris Baguley gained Ashton the three points.

Workington slipped to fifth after a dramatic defeat at home to Colwyn Bay. Conor Tinnion gave the hosts the lead after 36 minutes. However, two goals in the final three minutes from John Marsden and Luke Denson gave Colwyn the win which moves them to within three points of safety.

Halesowen Town are in eighth place after a comfortable victory over Marine. Kaiman Anderson gave them the lead after just 13 minutes, with Ashley Parsons-Smith and Malcolm Melvin sealing the victory in the second-half.

Rushall Olympic picked up back-to-back wins away from home to move up to ninth place in the league. On Saturday they won 2-0 at Frickley Athletic, with both goals coming just before half-time through Luke Benbow and Alex Reid.  On Tuesday they were involved in a much more dramatic encounter with Barwell. Joshua McKenzie and Alex Reid both scored in the first three minutes of the second half to put Rushall in control. Anthony Carney and Luke Barlone scored, as it looked like Barwell would earn a point. However, Mckenzie scored his second for Rushall in injury-time to win the game 3-2.

Stourbridge missed the chance to close the gap on the top five, as they lost at home to bottom of the table Ramsbottom United. Jordan Bove gave the visitors the lead after half an hour.  Leon Broadhurst levelled for Stourbridge, but two goals from Daniel Wilkins put Ramsbottom in control. Justin Richards pulled a goal back for Stourbridge, but it wasn’t enough to prevent a 3-2 defeat.

Second bottom Stamford also won at home to Hyde United, 2-1. Jake Newman opened the scoring for the hosts in the first ten minutes, only for Ayrton Bevins to level for Hyde before half-time. However, Thomas McGowan won the game for Stamford with a goal in the 69th minute.

The final game of the week saw Sutton Coldfield Town beat Skelmersdale United, 3-1. Luke Rodgers, Dan O’Callaghan and Ryan Edmunds scored the goals for Sutton, with Chris Almond scoring for Skelmersdale.

At the weekend Darlington host Matlock Town, while leaders Blyth Spartans travel to Halesowen Town.
