Darlington were once again without a competitive fixture this week, following the postponement of the game with Matlock Town. However, the side were able to play a friendly against Guisborough Town, which ended in a 1-1 draw.

In the league, Blyth Spartans remain four points clear after a 1-0 victory at Halesowen Town. Robbie Dale scored the only goal of the game in the 66^th minute from the penalty spot.

Salford City are up to second in the league after another convincing home win against Skelmersdale United. John Johnston scored twice in the first half, along with a goal from James Poole to put the Ammies in control at half-time. Jordan Hulme added another shortly after the break, as Salford ran out 4-0 winners.

Nantwich Town are third after they fell to defeat at Rushall Olympic. Alex Reid scored the only goal of the game for Rushall in the 36^th minute.

Workington and Ashton United are both in the play-off places, but it was Workington who came out on top, 5-2, when the sides met on Saturday. Conor Tinnion scored a hat-trick for Workington, with Scott Allison scoring the sides two other goals. Martin Pilkington and Edward Toner scored the goals for Ashton United.

Ashton United remain ahead of Workington though, after a 6-0 win over Ramsbottom United on Tuesday night. Stephen Mason scored twice along with goals from Adam Morning, Toner, Dale Johnson and Joe Connor.

Barwell sit in ninth place after a 4-0 win at home to Ilkeston. Anthony Carney gave the side the lead after just nine minutes, with Alex Tomkinson, Richard Lavery and Jamie Towers adding further goals.

Ramsbottom United continued their recent good form with a 4-0 win at Grantham Town. Kayde Coppin and Alexander Meaney put the visitors 2-0 ahead at the break. David Kuba-Kuba and a second from Meaney sealed the win in the second half.

Stamford remain second bottom, but the side were able to earn a point in stoppage time at home to Stourbridge. Karl Hawley and Christopher Lait had put the visitors 2-0 up, but an own goal and a late equaliser from Christopher Hamilton made the final score 2-2.

In the final game of the week Sutton Coldfield Town and Hyde United held each other to a 0-0 draw.

This coming week Darlington have two games scheduled, first away to Frickley Athletic on Saturday, before hosting Whitby Town on Tuesday night. Blyth Spartans host Rushall Olympic while Ashton United play Salford City.
