Blyth Spartans came from behind in the most dramatic of fashions on Saturday at Ilkeston. An own goal from Alex Nicholson along with strikes from Hayden Goddard and Luis Rose saw Ilkeston go 3-0 up. However Sean Reid and Robbie Dale had Blyth back in the game with half an hour still to play. Reid then equalised in the 89^th minute, before Dale scored deep into stoppage time to earn Blyth a 4-3 win.

Blyth won again on Monday night, 4-0 at Hyde United. Reid scored the first two for Blyth, before two former Quakers, Paul Robinson and Wilson Kneeshaw both added further goals.  The results leave Blyth four points ahead of Darlington, having played two games more.

Salford are looking to secure third spot in the league and home advantage in a potential playoff semi-final. They were 5-0 winners at home to Grantham Town on Saturday. Jordan Hulme scored twice, along with goals from James Poole, Danny Webber and Evan Gumbs.

The Ammies picked up another impressive victory on Tuesday, as they won 3-0 at Ashton United. Jordan Hulme and James Poole put Salford in control, with Danny Webber sealing the victory in the second half.

Playoff hopefuls Ashton United and Stourbridge met on Saturday in a five goal thriller.  Stourbridge were 3-0 up at half-time, thanks to goals from George Bowerman, Daniel Scarr and Karl Hawley. An own goal from Kristian Green along with a strike from Martin Pilkington brought Ashton back into the game, but Stourbridge held on for a 3-2 win.

Stourbridge won again on Monday night, 2-0 against Stamford. Christopher Lait opened the scoring just before half-time, with Ashley Vincent sealing the victory in the final few minutes.

Workington kept up their hopes of a top five finish with four points this week, which started with a 1-0 win at Matlock Town on Saturday, Matthew Tymon scored the only goal of the game in the 88^th minute.

Workington are now level on points with Ashton United and Stourbridge after a 1-1 draw with Rushall Olympic. Andre Brown had given Rushall the lead, but Robbie Hebson earned a point for Workington.

Barwell snatched a last minute point at Skelmersdale United to earn a 3-3 draw. Christopher Almond scored two penalties for the hosts, along with a Max Hazeldine goal. However, Richard Lavery, Nathan Eddington and Ryan Boothe saw Barwell take a point from the game.

Ramsbottom United have been relegated from the division, after their latest run of defeats.  On Saturday they lost at second bottom Colwyn Bay, 4-1. Jack Kelleher scored a hat-trick for the welsh side, along with a goal from Stephen Wilson, Alexander Meaney scoring the consolation for Ramsbottom United.

Relegation was confirmed for Ramsbottom on Tuesday night after a 2-0 defeat at Matlock Town, Niall McManus and Danny Holland scoring the goals in the first ten minutes.

Colwyn Bay are still in trouble themselves after a 5-0 defeat at Sutton Coldfield Town. Dan O’Callaghan and Jean-Michael Gueyes both scored twice for Sutton Coldfield along with a goal from Aaron Forde.

Whitby Town’s hopes of survival suffered a setback at Buxton on Saturday, as they fell to a 3-2 defeat. Bradley Barraclough, Spencer Harris and Nicky Walker put Buxton in control. They then were able to hold on for victory despite late goals from Michael Roberts and Callum Martin giving Whitby Town hope.

Whitby suffered another defeat at Ilkeston FC on Monday. Michael Williams scored twice to put Ilkeston 2-0 up, a goal from Michael Roberts gave Whitby hope, but they fell to a 2-1 defeat.

Stamford picked up a point away to Marine on Saturday. Sam Downy gave Stamford the lead, before Christopher Sharp levelled for the hosts two minutes later.

Hyde’s fall down the table continued as they lost 3-0 at Frickley Athletic. Luke Hinsley, Bailey Gooda and an own goal from Samuel Fitton won the game for Frickley.

Mickleover Sports picked up what could prove to be a crucial point at home to Nantwich Town on Saturday. Dominic McGarr gave Mickleover the lead with Matthew Bell earning a point for Nantwich four minutes from full-time.

Mickleover then picked up another point at Marine on Tuesday in a six goal thriller. Zephaniah Thomas and a double from Nyambu Dinanga had put Mickleover 3-1 ahead. However, goals from Charlie Barnett, Andy Nicholas and Andrea Owens earned a 3-3 draw for Marine.

On Thursday night Marine drew 1-1 with Grantham Town. Grant Ryan gave Grantham the lead, before Alan Burton earned a point in stoppage time for the hosts.

Rushall Olympic won 3-1 away to Halesowen Town. Mitchell Tolley, Alex Reid and Kris Taylor gave Rushall the win, with Daniel Sweeney scoring the consolation for Halesowen.

Rushall then picked up a good point away from home at Nantwich on Tuesday. Liam Shotton and Elliot Osborne saw Nantwich take a 2-0 lead, before Jake Heath pulled one back for Rushall. Matthew Bell appeared to have sealed the game, but two late goals from Luke Benbow ensured the match finished 3-3.

This week Darlington have two fixtures in their race for promotion. The Quakers are at Grantham Town on Saturday, before hosting Skelmersdale United on Tuesday.

League leaders Blyth only play once this week, at home to Skelmersdale United on Saturday.
