Darlington finished their season with a 1-0 defeat at Rushall Olympic, but it would not spoil the celebrations as the club achieved their third promotion in four years.

Ashton United and Workington secured play-off places as Stourbridge were the side to miss out on a top five finish.

Stourbridge needed a win to secure a play-off place, but they fell to a 2-1 defeat at home to Salford City. Michael Itela scored for Salford after ten minutes, but Stourbridge levelled ten minutes later through Stuart Pierpoint. However, Itela scored his second to win the game for Salford and send the majority of the 1827 in attendance home disappointed.

Salford will host Ashton United in their play-off semi-final after Ashton secured fourth place with a 1-0 win at Sutton Coldfield Town, thanks to a Martin Pilkington strike.

Workington demolished Buxton to set up a play-off semi-final at second placed Blyth Spartans. Kyle May, Gareth Arnison, Connor Tinnion and Robert Wilson all scored during the first-half with Tinnion sealing a 5-0 win after the break.

Blyth were defeated 2-1 at home by Marine, despite taking the lead through former Quaker Paul Robinson. However, Warren Bellew and Daniel Mitchley both scored to win the game for Marine.

Frickley Athletic finished the season in seventh, despite defeat to Nantwich Town who ended the campaign just one place below them. Liam Shotton scored the only goal of the game for Nantwich in the 70th minute.

Barwell ended the season with a 4-0 win at home to Matlock Town. Brady Hickey and Jamie Towers both scored twice for the hosts.

Ramsbottom United finished the season with only their third win of the campaign at home to Ilkeston. Bevan Burey, Alexander Meaney, Daniel Wilkins and John Pritchard all scored for Ramsbottom as they ran out 4-0 winners.

Hyde United were relegated last week and they fell to another defeat at home to Halesowen Town, Tyree Clarke scoring the only goal of the game for the visitors.

Stamford beat Mickleover Sports 2-0 thanks to two goals from Gregory Smith, one in each half.

Dale Hopson scored a late equaliser for Whitby Town at home to Skelmersdale. Max Hazeldine had given Skelmersdale the lead, before Hopson levelled three minutes from time.

In the final game of the weekend Grantham Town and Colwyn Bay held each other to a 0-0 draw.

On Tuesday night both play-off semi-finals take place, with the two winners meeting next Saturday to decide who will join the Quakers in the National North division.

Thank you to everyone who has read the round-ups this season, I look forward to writing them for our new home in the National North division in August.
