Hospitality costs and revenue at Blackwell Meadows
Director John Tempest is keen to put the record straight on hospitality costs on Match Days as there has been some disquiet over what DFC does and doesn’t receive at Blackwell Meadows which is perhaps reflected in the lower numbers booking hospitality this season.
"Apart from the food preparation costs, DFC receive the full amount from fans dining upstairs in the corporate area," JT said. "This was one of the key revenue streams when we set out to ground share and we would like to invite fans to take up the opportunity to sample the fare as it makes a big difference to overall match day income. There are a range of packages and recently an offer for 500 club members.
"Outside of hospitality we also receive a percentage split of sales for all bar and outside concessions. I hope this has put the record straight and encourages fans to use the facilities."
