First league game for women's team on Sunday

Darlington F.C Women get their league campaign underway this Sunday at the Eastbourne Community Stadium.
Gateshead Leam Rangers will be the visitors in the same opening day fixture as last season. On that day, the Quaker Women secured the 3 points with a narrow 2-1 victory with goals from Hattie Raine and Aimee Dagnall. The away fixture was also a competitive close game with the game finishing 1-1 after a late equaliser from Leam cancelled out a Hattie Raine opening goal.
Leam have had a decent pre season and a young energetic squad. They knocked Hartlepool United out of the FA Cup last week so will come with confidence they can get a result.
