Foodbank collection on Saturday at the Stockport match

We will be holding our annual collection for the King’s Church Foodbank at the Stockport County match on Saturday, which is part of a network of foodbanks across the town.

Foodbanks are an emergency food resource for people who are unable to feed themselves or their families due to financial difficulties or crisis.

So please bring with you on Saturday an item food, especially non-perishables such as – baked beans, soup, UHT milk, tinned meats/fruit, noodles and pasta or rice, which helps the foodbank to make up a well-balanced bag of food.

The collection bins will be situated on the approach to the home turnstiles.

Quakers fans have always given generously in the past and no doubt this year will be no different. If every fan was to bring just one item of food, it would make a huge difference.
