GoFundMe fundraiser for Paddy Almond

GoFundMe fundraiser for Paddy Almond

Help Paddy and his family in their time of need.

Darlington defender Paddy Almond suffered a bleed on the brain and was rushed into hospital after the FA Trophy defeat at Southend on Saturday.

After a brain scan at Southend General Hospital, he was transferred to the Royal London Hospital where he was given another brain scan and is now undergoing observation. He could be in hospital for some time.

Paddy is a non contract player at the club, and has little other income away from football. Obviously, he is unable to work at the moment. His family is also with him, and are incurring travel and hotel costs visiting him from their home in Northumberland.

Please therefore help Paddy and his family meet out of pocket expenses by contributing to this GoFundMe appeal.

We would therefore like to thank everyone who contributes to this appeal -- it is greatly appreciated by Paddy and his family.
