Updated arrangements caused by today's match postponement
Darlington Football Club will be cheering up the children in the Pediatric Ward at Darlington Memorial Hospital on Thursday 21st December, and we want your help!
Some youngsters will be spending the festive season in hospital, and the club wants to make their stay happier and less worrying by giving them Christmas presents.
The gifts will then be handed out to the children when Tommy Wright and the players visit.
We are also appealing for fans to bring donations to pass on to the Salvation Army. These needn't be presents, they can be selection boxes, tins of food and non perishable goods etc etc.
You can bring these along to the reserve game this afternoon (Saturday) at Eastbourne -- the reserves are at home kick off 2pm -- while they can also be dropped off at Quaker Retail in the Dolphin Centre between 11am and 2pm on Sunday. Geoff Gale will be receiving donations in the car park at Eastbourne from 1pm to 4pm this afternoon, and in the Dolphin Centre on Sunday.
The donations can also be passed on at the open meeting on Monday night in the Dolphin Centre, beginning at 7pm
Please help Darlington FC to help others this Christmas.
Thanks to Geoff Gale for making the arrangements.
