Hodgy and friends complete the Ride For Freedom

Former manager cycles around north east football grounds

Former Darlington manager David Hodgson today completed a cycle ride around the major football grounds in the north east to raise awareness of modern slavery.

Hodgy and his friends cycled from Middlesbrough to Hartlepool, Sunderland and Newcastle -- a distance of 72 miles --  before travelling southwards to Blackwell Meadows where he was greeted by Darlington fans.
