On behalf of the DFC Board and fans I would like to thank Dave Watson for his huge commitment over the last 18 months, Dave’s tireless enthusiasm which I’ve seen first-hand over that time where he has galvanised the volunteer staff across the club with his positive “can do” attitude, the club will definitely be a sorrier place without him.
Dave’s exit is purely down to him having to work 5 days a week at his firm in Northallerton, however its not a total goodbye as Dave has offered his services at the many events we will be running in the future and he will also be in attendance at some weekdays matches.
Once again thank you Dave and we look forward to seeing you at Blackwell Meadows next season.
