November honour goes to Jack

Darlington FC are very proud to announce that attacking midfielder Jack Lambert has won the Vanarama National League North's player of the month award for November.

Jack has been outstanding as the club has stormed up the table during November.

He started the month with a hat trick at Telford in the 4-1 win (see the goals here),

set up a goal for Joe Leesley in the 3-1 home win over Alfreton and scored in the 2-1 away win at Hereford. He nearly scored from 70 yards at Hereford, but hit the bar.

He also scored twice in the FA Trophy win over Alfreton.

And of course, since the end of November, Jack scored a hat trick in the 6-2 win at Gloucester last weekend!

Manager Alun Armstrong said; "Jack has been outstanding this season and has become a real key player for us. He's got plenty of qualities that can turn games in our favour as he's shown several times. He's a deserving winner of the Player of the Month award."

Everybody at the club would like to congratulate Jack on his achievement.
