Darlington FC Youth Under 17’s 7 Foundation Of Light White 0
A strong performance from Darlington youth. The game started at a fast pace, Darlington passing the ball around playing from the back and down the wing to Shoabi Khan, with him putting the ball across the box nicely for Luke Evans with a half volley hitting the defender back out to James Walker on the volley straight through the defence past the keeper into the top corner, making it 1-0 to the Quakers.
The game continued with a fast tempo with the ball being played down the wing again to Tom Gilroy taking on players and putting a good ball into the box with an easy tap in for Hugo Elmwood making it 2-0 to Darlington.
Darlington weren't going to stop there keeping the tempo high looking for the third goal when the chance came from a nice set from Walker to Moncur with a first time shot outside the box into the top left corner. 3-0 Darlington.
Same again from the opposition’s kick off, Darlington not giving the opposition time to play, winning the ball back and putting 20 passes together finally a ball in the box and a tap in for Aaron Mudd, great play from Darlington. Halftime 4-0
The second half kicked off Darlington still hunting for goals, and not letting the opposition have time on the ball, a free kick awarded on the edge of the box for Jenkinson, he steps up putting it over the wall and past the keeper making it 5-0.
The last ten minutes Darlington still attacking at full, scoring another with Jenkinson placing it past the keeper from a pass across the box by Walker. Final minutes of the game Darlington sat deeper making sure they don't concede, and a ball placed over the defence from Pattison, and Luke Evans ran through placing it past the keeper making it 7-0. The final whistle blows, great performance. Three points for Darlington. Man of the match: James Walker
