Funeral arrangements of former Darlington striker
The funeral of former Darlington striker Jimmy Lawton, who died last week, will take place on Tuesday 29th January at 1pm, in St Margaret's RC Church, Great Ayton, prior to cremation at Teesside Crematorium at 2.45pm.
Family, friends and supporters should meet at the church, and afterwards at the Royal Oak in Great Ayton.
Jimmy died last week aged 76. He scored 71 goals for us, 25 of them in the league season of 1964-65.
Our sincere condolences go to his family and friends.
