 MOTM was Jojo Crumpton

In this very hard fought derby game Darlo again dug deep and ground out a hard fought win.

Darlo started the better with Jamieson and Jamie up front being a threat all the time and in 15 mins Jamo played a great through ball that Diamond ran onto and took a great first touch and coolly slotted past the keeper!!

But a minute later a first time cross from the left flew over everybody and into the top corner to make the score 1-1 at half time.

Darlo made changes at half time and in the second half and two of the changes paid off straight away.

Early in the second half when Louie Davidson hooked a cross into the box and with his first touch Joshua Gibson brilliantly volleyed home into the bottom corner. Darlo didn't stop there and forced All Stars back and when awarded a corner sub Gibson’s delivery was perfect for the outstanding and ex All Stars player Oli Clark to meet it the back post and chest powerfully in!!

Now with a two goal cushion Darlo were patient and defended well and also looked dangerous with lively players, Keating, Sams and Walters going close. But the exceptional Joseph Crumpton in centre midfield tackled everybody that came towards him and played some great balls into the danger areas as well as taking numerous fouls on him showed great discipline and determination to keep Darlo ticking over to gain a deserved win and another three points to keep them in a good promotion position!!

Coach Warren said about his MOTM “ a great midfield display in a very tough game”
