Darlington Under 18s 2 New Hartley 1

The Under 18s came back from a goal down to win 2-1 in the Durham County Under 18 league.

Quakers went a goal down just before half time after having the majority of possession. The opposition goal came from a direct ball that split the defence and the winger put the ball in the bottom corner.

The hosts were on top throughout the game and the equaliser came when Joey Smith crossed for Lee Hume to score left footed from in the box. The second goal came from Callum Davison when he headed home a Danny Raw cross and the ball nestled in the top corner!

The Quakers saw out the visitors’ pressure towards the end to earn a good three points.
