Darlington midfielder Lewis Nightingale has been loaned out to his previous club Farsley Celtic.
Lewis joined Quakers from Farsley during the summer, but has been unable to force his way into a first team starting place so far this season.
"There is a lot of competition for places in our squad, and so we've decided to let him go out on loan and have some game time," said Darlington manager Martin Gray.
Lewis came on as a sub on Saturday in Farsley's 1-0 home win over Kendal Town.
