Luke Trotman called up for England C

Defender in squad for game v Wales

Luke Trotman

Darlington defender Luke Trotman has been called into the England C squad to play Wales at Salford in March.

Luke has been outstanding this season, and has been watched by representatives from England C on several occasions in recent weeks.

We would like to wish Luke all the best for the game at Salford's Peninsula Stadium on 19th March. He will join up with the squad after our home game against Chester on 16th March, and then train at Bury for the game.

We would like to wish Luke all the best for the game. He is the third Darlington player to receive international recognition in the last year, following Joe Wheatley (England C) and Reece Styche (Gibraltar).

The squad is:

Goalkeepers: Ryan Huddart (Boreham Wood), Ben Killip (Braintree Town)

Defenders: Marvin Ekpiteta (Leyton Orient), Daniel Jones (Barrow), Laurence Maguire (Chesterfield), Jon Mellish (Gateshead), Luke Trotman (Darlington)

Midfielders: Ryan Croasdale (AFC Fylde), James Hardy (AFC Fylde), Greg Olley (Gateshead), Thomas Walker (Salford City) Edward Williams (Kidderminster Harriers)

Forwards: Brandon Goodship (Weymouth), Luke James (Hartlepool United), Josh Koroma (Leyton Orient), Alfie Pavey (Dover Athletic)
