Today’s game against Nantwich Town has been postponed because of a waterlogged pitch.
The groundstaff of Bishop Auckland FC and Darlington FC all made intense efforts to try and get the pitch playable – for which everyone is grateful – but unfortunately after an inspection by a local referee, then the game has fallen foul to the weather.
A new date has yet to be arranged for the game, but it will mean that because Quakers already have two games per week arranged until the end of the season, then there will be a week when we will have to play three games.
