Last minute heartbreak
After beating Cheltenham 5-1 on the penultimate Saturday of the 1989-90 season, we all went to Kidderminster the following Monday night (30th April), looking for the point to clinch the title -- but Kiddie scored in stoppage time for a 3-2 victory, which meant we needed a point at Welling on the Saturday to clinch the GM Vauxhall Conference title.
