As we have now hit the proposed deadline for the Community Share pledges to be collected we wanted to update you on progress to date. A huge thanks to all those who have either paid their pledges or indicated that they are in the process of paying, we’ve now collected over £90,000 of the £100,000 target with over 80% of the total pledges being received so far.

In order to close the issue and transfer the funds to the Football Club to support the Blackwell Meadows development we must hit the £100,000 target. We therefore need to gauge with urgency the likelihood of the remaining pledges arriving over the next few days so we can plan our next steps.

We appeal to those who have pledged but not yet paid to make contact with us and indicate whether the pledge is likely to be fulfilled. If anyone needs to change their pledge we can facilitate this. For those who subscribed via GoCardless we are unable to take payment unless you re-authorise your direct debit – we have contacted all affected pledgees with this information but if anyone is having problems paying please contact us and we can arrange an alternative method.
