Darlington manager Martin Gray says that defensive indiscipline let Quakers down in their defeat by Nuneaton.

“I thought the result was very disappointing,” he told the official website. “I thought we’d done enough to win the game, but defensive indiscipline has cost us. Just look at the goals.

“I thought we had four or five good chances and were always in control. Overall, I thought the performance was good, but our defending let us down.

“I don’t think it’s a case of being punished more for our errors because we’re playing in a higher league, I think it’s more of a case of doing the basics better. We have to be more disciplined.”

There are interviews with Kevin Burgess, Phil Turnbull and Tommy Wright to follow over the weekend.
