Darlington Football Club urgently need more volunteers to help with stewarding and other duties on matchdays.

As the club enters another exciting period in its history with a promotion challenge and an imminent return to the town, inevitably there will be bigger crowds. In turn, we need more volunteers to provide a service on a matchday, not only with stewarding, but with many other duties throughout the club, such as 50/50 ticket selling, programme selling and tidying up.

Director John Tempest said; “The volunteer base is extremely small and with Blackwell Meadows now a reality we are now looking to identify competent match day volunteers to assist us in areas such as stewarding, ticket selling, programme selling and with an increased hospitality offering anyone with dining customer skills would be most welcome. If interested please contact myself or Dave Watson for an initial chat. Even if you can only spare an hour, then it will be most appreciated, because there will be a heavy workload, and we want to spread it around as many people as possible."
