Salford’s poor festive period continued, as their lead at the top of the table was cut to four points after being held to a 2-2 draw by FC United of Manchester. Anthony Dudley gave the Ammies the lead with Craig Lindfield levelling for FC United just before half time. Jack Redshaw again put Salford ahead before Zoe Corbett scored three minutes from time for the visitors to ensure the league leaders now have just one point from the last nine.
Brackley again were held by Leamington, 1-1. Stefan Moore put the Brakes ahead with Aaron Williams spot kick earning a point for Brackley.
Spennymoor moved up to fourth after another impressive win over Blyth Spartans. Former Quaker Dale Hopson put Blyth ahead, but goals from Kallum Griffiths, Rob Ramshaw and Glen Taylor earned the Brewers the 3-1 win.
Bradford PA also moved ahead of Blyth despite suffering late heart break at Curzon Ashton. Oliver Johnson appeared to have won the game for Bradford, but Sam Madeley scored deep into stoppage time for the Nash to earn a 1-1 draw.
Kidderminster remain in the final playoff spot after a 2-0 win at home to Telford United. Andre Brown and Andre Wright scored the goals for Harriers either side of half time.
Stockport are eighth after completing the double over Alfreton who are in the bottom three. Chris Smalley scored twice along with an own goal for Stockport. Brendan Daniels penalty in the 94th minute was just a consolation for Alfreton, as they lost 3-1.
York City prepared for their trip to Blackwell Meadows this Saturday with a 2-0 win over North Ferriby United at Bootham Crescent. Jon Parkin scored either side of half-time for York, he is now the leagues joint top scorer.
Nuneaton are in the bottom three after a 2-0 defeat at Tamworth. Connor Taylor and Callum Powell scored the goals for the Lambs.
Southport picked up a huge win over playoff chasing Chorley 3-0. It was their first win in 20 games in all competitions since they beat ourselves. The three points moved them ahead of us into 17th place. David Morgan scored early for Southport before goals in the last five minutes from Nathan Sheron and Jack Sampson sealed the win.
The final game on Saturday saw Gainsborough Trinity and Boston share the spoils. Ashley Worsfold gave Trinity the early lead, but Reece Thompson earned a 1-1 draw for the Pilgrims just after the break.
