On Tuesday we earned a hard fought point at York City in front over 1,000 away fans. Despite both sides hitting the woodwork we picked up a 0-0 draw which keeps our unbeaten record in the league so far. The result saw us slip to third in the league table.

Brackley Town are now clear at the top after winning their opening four matches. Their latest win coming at home to Nuneaton Town on Tuesday. Ellis Myles scored the only goal of the game after 11 minutes for Brackley to maintain their 100% record.

Spennymoor Town also have a perfect record, but have played a game less. Three goals in three minutes secured a win over Bradford Park Avenue. Glenn Taylor scored twice along with a goal from Andy Johnson to seal the 3-0 win before half-time. The Brewers are now fifth in the league.

Harrogate moved up to second after an impressive 4-1 win at home to Chorley. Simon Ainge scored twice in the first half to put Harrogate in control. Marcus Carver pulled a goal back for Chorley, but two further strikes from Jordan Thewlis sealed the win.

Alongside Harrogate and ourselves on ten points are Southport. They dropped their first points of the season in a 3-3 draw with FC United of Manchester. The visitors who came into the game without a point to their name went 2-0 up through James Hooper and Nathan Lowe. Southport pulled one back thanks to Liam Martin, but the game appeared to be won for FC United when Craig Lindfield made it 3-1 with 18 minutes to go.  However, they were denied their first victory thanks to Adam Dugdale and then a Jack Sampson strike in stoppage time.

In another huge game at Moor Lane, Salford City overcame neighbours Stockport County 2-1. Michael Nottingham gave the Ammies the lead after just five minutes with Anthony Dudley doubling it after 26 minutes. Connor Hampson pulled one back for County just before the break, but they were unable to force an equaliser in the second period.

In the Monday night game Curzon Ashton beat Telford United 1-0 to move up to eighth. Niall Cummins scored the only goal of the game just after half time for Curzon.

Kidderminster Harriers won their second game in a row at home to newly promoted Leamington. A Joe Ironside penalty gave them the lead, with Emmanual Sonupe making it 2-0 in stoppage time.

Blyth also picked up their second win at Gainsborough Trinity. Dale Hopson and Nathan Buddle gave Blyth a 2-0 lead inside 15 minutes. Michael Jacklin reduced the arrears for Trinity only for Sean Reid to restore Spartans two goal lead on 64 minutes. Bradley Wells again reduced the gap to one goal, but Dan Maguire sealed a 4-2 win for Blyth in the final minutes.

North Ferriby United are still without a point or goal after their latest defeat at Alfreton Town. The only goal of the came after 70 minutes for Alfreton through Billy Priestley.

In the final game of the week Tamworth won at home to Boston United, 2-1. Jack Cowgill was sent off for the Pilgrims as he gave away a penalty which Reece Styche converted. Kabongo Tshimanga levelled for the ten men, before Daryll Knights won the game for Tamworth which 19 minutes to go.
