Salford City's lead at the top of the table at one stage had been 10 points, but we have new leaders after the Ammies had to be happy with a point at home to Bradford Park Avenue. Nicky Wroe and former Quaker Adam Nowakowski put the visitors in control. Anthony Dudley pulled one back for Salford with just over ten minutes to go and in stoppage time he scored again to earn a 2-2 draw. Bradford are eighth four points off the final playoff place.
However, the Ammies failing to take all three points gave Harrogate the chance to move ahead of them, which they just about did. Harrogate hosting Alfreton came out the blocks flying to lead 4-0 inside 34 minutes through Dominic Knowles, Liam Kitching and a double from Mark Beck. However, they ended up holding on for the win as Alfreton came back into the game thanks to Chris Sharp and two from Nyal Bell. Harrogate held on to win 4-3 and now lead Salford on goal difference. Alfreton remain ahead of ourselves on goal difference having now played the same number of games.
In the final game of the night, Nuneaton kept up their fantastic form with an impressive win at playoff chasing Stockport County. The only goal of the game was credited as an own goal from County goalkeeper Ben Hinchliffe following Ashley Chambers effort that had hit the bar. The win sees Nuneaton move up to 12th in the table eight points ahead of the relegation zone while they are now just four points behind Stockport.
