David Steel co-opted in to the board
The Darlington FC Supporters Group have today co-opted David Steel onto the Board.
David, who is a lifelong Darlington fan, has seventeen years’ experience within talent research, insight and intelligence, both in delivery and client development. He is currently the joint managing director of the Talent Insight Group, based in Newcastle.
David, who saw his first Darlington game in the 1989/90 season, said: "I have supported the club for thirty years now, so to get the chance to join the DFCSG Board and hopefully help make a difference as the club continues to grow and progress in the coming years is a big thrill. I doubt the 11 year-old me back in 1989 would ever believe it could happen! I'm really looking forward to joining the board and working with everyone moving forward."
DFCSG Chair Chris Stockdale said; “I am delighted to welcome David onto the DFCSG Board. His professional skill set and experience will be a big asset to the football club as we look to build for the future, on & off the field.”
