Darlington skipper Phil Turnbull says that Quakers need to be more aggressive.
Phil admitted that he was “very disappointed” with the 3-0 defeat by Brackley last Saturday, and he said that there needs to be an improvement for the away game at Kidderminster this Saturday.
“We must take more responsibility as players, we didn’t do enough in the game,” he said. “We looked lethargic and needed to be more aggressive.
“We killed ourselves with bad balls and didn’t execute the game plan that we’d spoken about in training and before the game. We sat back and allowed Brackley to dictate to us.
“We have prided ourselves in the past on being hard working and never-say-die, and that’s what we need to be like again at Kidderminster.
“I’m sure the gaffer and Whitey will be talking it all through with us at training this week, and we’ll do our best to get it right at Kidderminster.”
