Our contractors, Turf Technical, carried out an inspection of the affected part of the Tin Shed penalty area on Thursday following the appearance of puddles ahead of the previous night’s game against FC United.

Their inspection revealed that there seems to be a layer of compacted sand/soil covering the surface of the drains, probably as a result of the final surface preparations before seeding took place.

Danvic Turf will remediate this soil capping. We are informed that the solution is to cut through the profile with sand slits and connect the surface with e drains below. This work will be carried out on Monday 25th September, Danvic Turf's earliest window.

Our next home game is scheduled to be Saturday 7^th October against Stockport County.
