We went into the closing weeks of the season in the bottom third of the table, after the Oldham defeat on 9th March we were 16th in the table, thirteen points behind the top three.
We lost 3-1 at home to Mansfield on 16th March
We won 3-0 at Chester on 6th April
but then failed to win in five matches before we beat Bradford City 3-2 in the penultimate game of the season
before losing at Chesterfield on 1st May to finish the season in 18th place
