The away game at Oldham Athletic on 14th February 1948, a 3-3 draw

At home to Tranmere Rovers on 21st February 1948, a 2-0 home defeat

At home to Hull City on 13th March 1948, two goals from Harry Clarke giving us a 2-0 win

A rarity in the 40s, an image on the front page of the Stockport programme - the ground facade doesn't seem to have changed much.

We won 3-0 thanks to a Harry Clarke hat trick in front of a 12,247 crowd.

The away game at Hartlepool on Easter Monday, 29th March 1948, our third game in four days. We beat Hartlepool 1-0 on Good Friday -- the programme is on the header -- then the following day we drew 1-1 with Bradford City
