Quaker Women continue promotion quest

Home game against Birtley on Sunday

Our Women's team are looking for three points in the Durham County Women's League at home to Birtley on Sunday afternoon.

After a slump in form which saw the unbeaten league record ended, Quakers had a good away win at Tow Law last week to keep them in second place in the table, seven points behind leaders Hartlepool Pools Youth.

Hattie Raine scored a hat trick to give her ten goals for the season.

This should be a good game on Sunday -- Birtley are in fourth place, seven points behind Quakers.

The match at Eastbourne kicks off at 2pm.

Here's the league table as it stands:
