Quaker Women sign Lucy Hart

New signing ahead of Sunday's game

Darlington FC Women are delighted to officially announce the signing of Lucy Hart.

Lucy started her playing days at Norton and Stockton Ancients F.C, playing there for all her youth and continuing into women’s senior football until her early twenties.

Lucy then took a break from football to concentrate on her coaching and business and more recently has played for Stockton Town F.C. Lucy can play full back and wing back and is a versatile player who can play in a more attacking role too.

Manager Shaun Mackenzie said: "I'm very happy to get Lucy signed for the remainder of the season, she has been training with us for a few weeks now and has done really well at training. Lucy has fitted in well with the girls and will bring some more experience and quality to the side. We have been unlucky with injuries in last few weeks and Lucy can offer some defensive cover in full back positions and can also be utilised on the wings depending on what formation we play.

"Lucy is ready to go and will be available for selection this weekend in another big game at Consett, welcome to the club!"
