The Quakers' last game of March was called off at Whitby Town on Bank Holiday Monday after a successful month in which we'd won all seven league games.
Quakers were last in action when they came from behind to win 2-1 against Halesowen last Saturday, Terry Galbraith and Graeme Armstrong scoring the goals.
Team:
Darlington: Jameson, Hunter, Galbraith, Turnbull, Burgess, Brown (sub Mitchell 44), Portas, Scott, Gaskell (sub Hardy 64), Cartman, Thompson (sub Armstrong 45)
Subs: Provett, Nowakowski
Bookings: Burgess (foul), Galbraith (foul), Scott (dissent)
Elsewhere Blyth Spartans were able to win 3-0 at home to Workington to extend their lead at the top of the table to four points.
The two sides have already met twice this season, both on Sutton Coldfield’s artificial pitch. Sutton knocked Darlington out of the FA Trophy with a 1-0 win back in November. However, it was the Quakers who came out on top in the league meeting in February, when Adam Mitchell scored the only goal in a 1-0 win.
